Ally could NOT wait until her class got to go on a field trip. A couple weeks ago they walked to the local library to have their pictures made with Santa. I told her that was a field trip, but she was quick to inform me that it was NOT a field trip. It isn't a field trip UNLESS YOU RIDE A BUS! That is the requirement for my little kindergartner. haha The school was debating whether or not to bus the kids up the school campus to the auditorium or to have them walk. It was a brisk day, but in the 50s temp wise. At the very last moment, they decided to bus them and Ally was OVER the moon that she FINALLY got to ride a bus. It was the best day ever, she declared.

I was outside with Ally and talking to the neighbor this afternoon. I noticed that all the fruit was off of our fruit tree in the front yard. Someone STOLE the fruit off the blasted thing. I thought maybe the fruit had fallen off, but there was none on the ground. How rude that someone thought it would be okay to take our fruit! Unbelievable!!

Ian in his Bear Scout uniform! He was all proud that I got him the rest of the stuff and all his belt loops on his belt. He's got the fishing, bowling, basketball, BB gun, Archery, Map and Compass, and one other one I can't think of! We still need to get his bobcat and wolf patches put on the front of his uniform, too!

Today was finally Pancake day in Ally's class. They have been reading books by Eric Carle the last couple weeks. To finish up their study, they read Pancakes Pancakes! Ally was sooo excited for Pancake day that I thought she would bust before it happened! I volunteered to help out with Pancake day. I made the pancakes and the teacher helped the kids get their toppings. Once the pancakes were all cooked, I helped with the toppings, too. Ally had everything on her pancake. Blueberry jam, whipped cream, syrup, and a strawberry on the side. I have no idea why she didn't use her spork to eat the pakcake with, though. She just picked it up and dove in...no manners Ally!

Happy Birthday to me! Today is my 23rd birthday...woohoo! My Grandmother taught me well on this whole aging process. You flip your age around, so that you are always younger! This doesn't work well when you get into the higher digits of the decade, though. Then, you just have to say you are 29 all over again! :) I had a great birthday. I got money to buy scrapbook stuff and I got lots of ribbon to make some halloween projects I had an idea for. Pretty good birthday for being 23 again!

Ally has wanted some Sketcher Twinkle Toes FOREVER. They advertise them like crazy on TV and let's face it....she loves anything that sparkles and is blingy! So, Ashley was down visiting and needed to get her a new pair of tennis shoes. When you bought one pair of shoes, you got a second 1/2 off. Ally got lucky and got a pair of Twinkle Toes. She was on cloud 9!! She loves them and of course they light up on top of all the bling!!

Ally likes to "help" mix up the muffins when we have them for breakfast. I have found out the reason for her helpfulness! She wants to make sure she can lick the bowl. Evidently, it's good down to the last lick! She had her whole face in the bowl this morning trying to get down to the bottom of the bowl!
